Craig Farrow, Managing Director's particular area of expertise within public practice is providing business advisory services to small to medium enterprises. This includes involvement on a number of advisory boards across the agribusiness, technology and manufacturing sectors. Together with succession planning, private wealth creation and preservation services.
With significant experience across the ASX, unlisted public and private companies, Craig retains a current board portfolio encompassing technology & software, agribusiness, manufacturing, health & allied health services either as Chair or Non-Executive Director.
Having commenced his career in 1987, Craig attained his Bachelor of Economics Degree in 1992 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994.
Craig is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand (CAANZ), Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and Australian Institute of Management (AIM), whilst also a Certified Practicing Manager and holds a Diploma of Financial Services.
In 1999 he was awarded the Institute's National President's Award for Service to the Institute and the profession.
A founding Partner of Brentnalls SA Chartered Accountants, Craig was Chairman/Partner for 20 years, becoming a Consultant of the firm from 1 July 2020. He also served as Chairman of the Brentnalls' National Affiliation for 4 years.
Craig is an experienced professional Company Director and was an originating Director of ASX listed M2 Group and Chairman from 2006 until its merger with Vocus Communications in 2016. He was also Deputy Chairman of Vocus Communications until February 2018.
In 2012, Craig was National President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA), now CAANZ. He was retained by ICAA and NZICA as Executive Chair of the CAANZ merger project from 2012 to 2014, and was further a director of Accounting Professional Ethics Standards Board from 2016 to 2022.
Craig was also Chairman of Australian Independent Rural Retailers from 2010 to 2019 when it was acquired by Elders Ltd.
Craig also has had significant involvement in the not for profit sector with a focus on disability and health. He is the former Chair of Doctors Health SA & General Practice SA Ltd and a current Director of Country & Outback Health.
